The Tajweed Course's Rules
This course is for students who have finished the Quran Reading course and can read the Quran but would like to improve their Tajweed skills. This course will use the tajweed rules taught in the primary level course to help students gain confidence. Repetition and a lot of practice are two of the essential characteristics of fluent Quranic reading. All basic tajweed rules, as well as reading practice, will be taught.
Structure of the Course
- Style of Recitation: Hafs an Asim.
- One-on-one classes
- 30-minute class duration
- At least eight years of age
- The ability to read the Quran fluently is required.
- The student's abilities determine the length of the course.
- Male/females both can register.
- Urdu is the language used.
Tajweed course rules
- Makhaarij (points of articulation).
- Waqf (Rules of Stopping).
- Vowels.
- Qalqalah.
- Sun and Moon letters.
- Rules of Izhar-e-Halaqi, Ikhfa, Idgham-e-Yarmaloon, Iqlab.
- Rules of Izhar-e-shafawi, Ikhfa-e-shafawi, Idgham-e-shafawi.
- Reading Practice (Surah Al-Fatiha).
- Reading Practice (Para 30).
- Exercises with the rules of Tajweed.
Requirements
This is a continuation of the application of Tajweed Rules in the Quran Reading Course. Therefore students must be able to read Arabic words and be familiar with Harakaat, sukoon, madd, tanween, and shaddah. You only need to complete the Quran Reading Course before moving on to the Tajweed Course.
Students will be able to read the Holy Quran with appropriate tajweed after completing this course. Develop a long-term relationship with the Quran.
